Research Exhibits Abstracts Due Monday, July 25
All Research Exhibits POCs need to complete their exhibit's booth abstract by July 25. Please complete the online form at https://ssl.linklings.net/conferences/sc2005/research_exhibits/, using your booth name and password to obtain access to the abstract submissions form. Please remember that abstracts are limited to 200 words.

Cray and Fernbach Awards Deadline Slated for July 29
The deadline for submitting nominations for the Cray and Fernbach Awards is just around the corner - July 29, 2005.
The Seymour Cray Computer Science and Engineering Award recognizes innivative contributions to high performance computing systems that best exemplify the creative spirit of Seymour Cray. The Sidney Fernbach Memorial Award honors innovative uses of high performance computing in problem solving.

Exhibitor Forum Presentations from Industrial Participants Encouraged
SC|05 Industrial Exhibitors are reminded that submissions of proposals for the SC|05 Exhibit Forum are scheduled to close on Monday, July 25.
Many Industry Exhibitors use the Exhibitor Forum to highlight their latest technological developments in high performance computing, networking, or storage. Many SC Conference Attendees find the Exhibitor Forum a valuable addition to the Conference Technical Program, providing presentations on technology that they may use to meet their high performance computing needs. Don't miss your opportunity to participate in this SC|05 technical forum. The Exhibitor Forum sessions are open to all who have access to the conference exhibits.
Please remember that space in the Exhibitor Forum is limited.
Proposals for Exhibitor Forum presentations must be submitted through the conference's submission website at http://www.sc-submissions.org/. Proposals will be accepted through Monday, July 25th. Notices of acceptance will be provided prior to September 1.

Free StorCloud Allocations to SC|05 Research Exhibitors
StorCloud is a special SC|05 initiative to build a High Performance Computing storage capability showcasing HPC storage technologies and applications. As a part of this initiative, all SC|05 Research Exhibitors will automatically receive a storage allocation on StorCloud! These allocations will be available via NFS mount points and may be used for the duration of the conference.
Start planning now to take advantage of these FREE resources! Detailed information regarding these allocations will be distributed to each Research Exhibit Coordinator at the beginning of the conference.

Birds of a Feather (BOF) Requests for Entries Concludes July 25
Birds-of-a-Feather sessions provide forums for conference attendees to discuss topics of mutual interest. BOFs are open to all conference attendees, including Exhibitors and Exhibits-only badge holders.
The deadline for submitting BOF proposals is July 25. Please make all submissions through the conference's submission website at www.sc-submissions.org/.

InfiniBand Connections Now Offered to Exhibitors
In addition to 1- and 10-Gigabit Ethernet connections, SCinet will for the first time offer 10Gigabit/second InfiniBand connections to Exhibitors to support IB-based connections to StorCloud, Grid and Cluster demonstrations with other Exhibitors, and StorCloud, Bandwidth, and Analytics Challenge proposals. The InfiniBand infrastructure within SCinet is being offered, architected, deployed, and supported by the Open IB Alliance.
